What a verified profile actually contains

A profile only helps you if it answers the questions an evaluator asks in the first thirty seconds. On PPN that means the fields are fixed, not freeform: your date of birth, height, primary and secondary position, nationality and passport status, your school and team history, your statistics, and links to film. Nothing is optional because nothing on that list is optional to a coach deciding whether to watch your tape.

Every profile is reviewed by PPN before it is listed. Verification moves through three levels, and only players who reach Level 3 appear when an agent or team searches the network. That is deliberately strict — it is the reason a team trusts what it reads here instead of treating it as another set of self-reported numbers.

How applying works, and why there are limits

Openings are posted by real teams with real eligibility rules attached: position, height range, passport status, professional experience, collegiate experience, and any custom requirement the team adds. If you do not match, you cannot apply — which saves you from sending applications that were never going to be read.

You get five applications a week. If you are represented by an agent on the network, that rises to ten. The cap is not there to slow you down; it is there so that a team opening twenty applications is reading twenty considered ones. You can see every status change as it happens — submitted, viewed, shortlisted, contact requested, passed — and you can withdraw an application at any time.

There is no open chat anywhere on PPN. A team requests contact, you accept or decline. You request representation, an agent accepts or declines. That structure is what keeps the network free of the cold-DM noise that makes most recruiting platforms exhausting.

What to have ready before you join

Have your film trimmed to three to five minutes with your best play first, your current season statistics, the exact spelling of every school and club you have played for, and a passport or ID status you can state honestly. Players who arrive with those four things get through verification quickly. Players who arrive with a highlight reel and nothing else usually do not.
