Evaluate from verified information, not claims
Scouting online usually means reconstructing a player from fragments — a highlight reel with no context, a stat line with no level attached, a height that nobody measured. PPN fixes the inputs. Every profile is reviewed before it is listed and carries the same fields in the same places: date of birth, height, primary and secondary position, nationality, passport status, school and team history, statistics, and film. Only players at verification Level 3 appear in search, so what you are reading has been checked.
That matters most for the numbers. A scoring average means something different in a junior-college season than in a semi-professional league, and a profile that states the level and the minutes alongside the average is one you can actually judge. Our guide to basketball stats that matter covers how to read them in context, and levels explained sets out what each competition tier actually represents.
Search the way you think
Filter by position, height, nationality, experience level, gender, passport status, and collegiate or professional background, then search across names, positions and clubs. The filters match the fields PPN verifies, so a search for a 6′8″ forward with an EU passport returns players who have been confirmed as exactly that.
Bring opportunities back to the players you rate
Scouting on PPN is not a one-way read. When you find a player worth moving on, the network gives you a structured way to act — a contact request the player accepts or declines, rather than a cold message into a void. There is no open chat anywhere on the platform, which is why response rates hold up.
Your account is verified before you are approved to browse. Players know that the people reviewing their film are real evaluators, and that is precisely why they complete their profiles properly.
Common questions
Who can browse player profiles?
Only verified agents, scouts, teams and organizations whose own accounts have been approved. Players cannot browse other players.
Why do I only see some players in search?
Only players who have reached verification Level 3 appear in search results. Players at lower levels are still completing or still in review.
Is the film and are the statistics verified?
Profiles are reviewed by PPN admins before listing, including the team history, statistics and film links on them. That review is what verification levels record.
Can I contact a player directly?
Through a structured contact request, which the player accepts or declines. There is no open messaging on PPN.
